Hello and welcome!

I’m Peerapond Vente – or Nuan, as my friends call me. I’m the founder of Iki-Koro Pets, inspired by my love of cooking for my dog, Otis.

Food has always been part of how I show care. I’m Thai-Chinese, born and raised in Thailand, where food is a way of expressing love and connection. There’s a German saying I love: “Liebe geht durch den Magen” – love goes through the stomach. That’s always felt true to me.

My passion for food led me to study human nutrition, completing two certificate courses through the German Long Distance Study for Adults. When I became a dog owner, I wanted to understand canine nutrition on a deeper level – not just what to feed, but why. My curiosity kept growing, and I knew I wanted to make thoughtful, informed choices for Otis – and eventually support others on their journey too.

That’s what led me to enroll in the Canine & Feline Nutrition Certificate Course at the University of Southern Illinois. It gave me a strong foundation in evidence-based, practical nutrition – not only for my own dog, but for helping others make responsible, informed choices as well.

I also work in marketing at a German company focused on food safety and sustainability, which has deepened my appreciation for the full food system – from farm to bowl.

My approach is practical and flexible. My feeding plans are completely non-biased and built around the foods you already use or are practical for your lifestyle and budget. I help you make the best nutrition decisions to keep your pet healthy and thriving. I care about balance, but also about real life – what works for you, your dog/cat, and the bond you share. 

Cooking for Otis has been a meaningful way to care for him and stay connected to the things I love: food, culture, and nature.
